Analyst Programmer / SQL Server Database Developer .
This is an excellent career opportunity for a SQL Server Developer with a minimum of 2 years experience to join this expanding Data warehouse / Reporting Systems Group of a CBD based Financial Services market leader.-
Working within a team of developers you will be primarily responsible for backend SQL Server development / DTS / SQL Integration Services development
The role will interface with Business Analysts and Business users to define and understand requirements and work through all stages of the SDLC
Create and develop reporting applications utilising Crystal Reports and associated Web technologies - ASP.NET
You will also be responsible for providing on going support to existing applications where appropriate.
Ideal candidates will need to be able to demonstrate : -
Excellent SQL Server Database Development skills inc DTS / SQL Integration Services - SQL Server 2005
Good analysis skills and the ability to work through specifications
Previous knowledge and experience with Reporting tools such as Crystal Reports would be a distinct advantage
Previous experience working with ASP.NET or Web technologies would be highly regarded but not essential.
