This leading Telco services company are currently seeking additional Network Engineers with solid Node B skills on either Nokia or Huawei equipment. It is expected that you will have come from either an installation and commissioning background or operations and maintenance but have developed your knowledge onto the next level and would be used to acting as 2nd/3rd level support for 3G site rollout issues. There are installers to do the actual site installation work - your role is to act more as a troubleshooter and problem solver, utilising your more extensive technical experience. It is inevitable that a considerable amount of your time will be out on site, all over the State.
It is expected that your technical knoweldge will be spread across mobile network elements generally, for example SDH Microwave link faults should not phase you if they come up as part of a problem at a site that you are sorting out.
Candidates with less than 2 years of Node B rollout experience with either Nokia or Huawei kit are very unlikely to be considered.
Candidates MUST be eligible to work in Australia. Visa sponsorship is not available in this instance.
