- Business Objects or Microstrategy or Cogos + SQL Server or Sybase

Experienced Business Intelligence / Datawarehouse Analyst Programmer / Developer required by a leading global Investment Banking & Financial Services firm. The organisation is currently undertaking a number of new business critical projects designed to significantly enhance their existing limited BI / Data Warehousing capability & build a management reporting system, pretty much from scratch. Therefore the suitable candidate MUST have prior experience building/significantly enhancing a Datawarehouse / Business Intelligence / Management Reporting solutions using a large RDBMS - Sybase or SQL Server & extensive experience with DWH /B I/ MIS & ETL tools - ideally Business Objects , Cognos , Microstrategy , Hyperion, Crystal Reports or similar. Part of the project/challenge will also include the migration of a number of legacy applications across to the new technology.
Required Experience:- Expert Business Intelligence/MI and datawarehouse / datamart design, development/build & migration experience using Business Intelligence / ETL / MIS tools - ideally Business Objects or Cognos , Microstrategy, Hyperion or Microsoft datawarehouse / ETL tools or similar The current DWH needs significant redesign & development so experience designing DWH data models & architectures & the data strategy is a pre-requisite - this is essentially a greenfield data-warehouse opportunity
- Expert RDBMS design & development including logical & physical design around Sybase or SQL Server
- Prior financial service experience is of benefit, however a strong background working within a large corporate environment on BI/Datawarehouse/MIS projects will suffice. Additional exposure to C# .Net or Java or Webmethods also of benefit as is experience with scheduling tools - Autosys , Control-M - although not imperative
