This organisation, a leader within Risk is currently looking for a Senior Product Manager to join their team in North Sydney.
In this role you will be accountable for leading the Product Management Team to ensure the development, maintenance and management of the organisations Risk products. You will look after the product processes; ensure that offerings are acceptable to other clients and that the products are in line with the market.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the product development and product upgrades for corporate, master trust and industry funds.
- Review, research, recommend and implement product changes when required.
- Develop, maintain and manage all product documentation (including product specification, templates for policy documents, service level agreements and standard quotation submissions) so that the policy terms and conditions are correctly reflected.
- Manage Product Development process, product launches and individual projects.
- Prepare business cases relating to product innovation or rationalisation in accordance with product development policy and project management methodology.
- Work with sales and customer solutions teams to advise existing and potential new clients regarding product design and terms and conditions.
- Manage the communication of changes to benefits and terms and conditions to clients.
- When required, lead in the preparation of tender documents for major and new existing business tenders.
- Review and benchmark the product and services provided to each of our clients.
- Provide coaching and regular performance reviews to direct reports.
- Manage the distribution of resource and workload in the team.
- Gain an in-depth knowledge of competitors’ products through study of publicity available information and networking competitors.
To be successful in this role you will have be PS146 compliant and will have knowledge of Life Insurance and Superannuation industry, products and services, you will be able to manage people and have coaching skills as well as excellent time management and organisational skills. Product and project management experience is essential and some marketing experience is highly desirable.
