A Leading Financial Services Organisations is currently looking for a Junior Business Analyst to join their team working within Retail Risk. In this role you will act as the intermediary/consultative stakeholder charged with clearly and accurately capturing and defining business requirements, business processes and reports for various projects.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and documenting business requirements around Advisers profiling strategies and other initiatives.
  • Developing and documenting business procedures, to support the management and control of strategies outlined by the Head of Distribution Strategy.
  • Defining and designing reports.
  • Define the requirements for the Business Intelligence system that will provide this organisation with current and factual data to add value to advisers.
  • Ensure that expectations are effectively managed to ensure "no surprise outcomes" when developing requirements and changes needed to support distribution strategies.
  • Testing of reports, processes, and on occasion’s business applications to ensure the quality of the solutions.

The right person for this position:

  • Will have some experience in retail risk insurance.
  • Will have the ability to support analysis skills by researching, benchmarking and using data analysis tools ( SQL, XL & MS Access).
  • Good self management skills, planning, organising and time management skills.
  • Astute commercial common sense’ the ability to assess financial impact of decision or requirements during analysis to establish or quantify requirements of issues.
  • Able to accurately asses work effort durations and commit to them
  • Good communication skills with the ability to communicate with all customers, advisers or suppliers clearly.
  • Good comprehension of Life Risk Insurance Business
