This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll officer looking for a challenging role in a shipping industry. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for a variety of payroll duties including
Weekly and monthly processing of payroll including preparation of accurate payroll tax returns and initiation of the monthly journals
Generating PAYG Certificates
Dealing with any matters relating to Workers Compensation
Maintenance of all payroll records, including tracking leave applications and authorisations as required.
Doing monthly and weekly payroll
- Communicate with the Groups HR Manager to maintain up to date Payroll and HR records
You will have a sound, proven knowledge of payroll ( end to end process ), with the ability to work to deadlines and excellent communication skills. You will also have intermediate Excel skills, with Micropay experience. If you have experience in a similar environment then we would like to hear from you
