Due to the ongoing growth of business within the Australian marketplace we are looking to identify the next generation of recruitment professionals to take Abraxas forward in the coming years. With the conditions that now exist in the IT&T recruitment marketplace, a bright, outgoing and hard-working individual can expect to be well on their way to earning a six-figure salary within two years of entering our industry.
As a recent graduate with a passion for sales, customer service and developing relationships with new people, you will quickly learn how to identify and shortlist candidates for vacancies with our existing customers, working alongside a Senior Consultant who will act as a mentor during the initial stages of your career. Once you prove yourself as a hard working, motivated individual and master these initial search and selection techniques, you will be given more responsibility and become exposed to the full recruitment lifecycle including client meetings, candidate interviews and making formal job offers on the clients behalf. You will take pride in "owning" these projects and the rewards (both financial and strategic) they provide for yourself, your team and the company.In time, if you show the aptitude, ability and desire, you will work towards building your own client- base and building upon this in a sales role, generating new long-term business relationships for the company.
To be successful in this industry you will have an outgoing personality, resilience, exceptional verbal & written communication skills and a willingness to work hard - and 'get on the phone' - in order to achieve the required outcomes.- A basic understanding of the Recruitment lifecycle will be of benefit, however the willingness to work along side senior staff initially in a support capacity is essential.
- Previous knowledge or understanding of IT is not required - full training in IT&T systems and terminology will be provided.
- A passion for customer service and a natural "can-do" attitude is essential.
