Project Manager. Leading global Wealth Management, Funds, WRAP & Investment Banking financial services area of this global financial services firm requires an experienced Project Manager. The Group provides each major business in the Bank with a dedicated team that works closely with that business to understand its particular technology needs. The Financial Services IT team develop & maintain the technology solutions to help Independent Financial Advisors transact and report on their clients' holdings & deliver ongoing innovative, market leading solutions across WRAP, Super, Cash Funds, Portfolio Management, Private Client, Stockbroking & Wealth - Equity products.

We are currently looking for a Project Manager to help manage and deliver a major project that group is undertaking to integrate a number of vendor supplied packages as well as developing key application capability. The Project Manager will help manage team activities and resources, plus relationships and deliverables from external vendors. To be successful in this role, you will:
  • be able to work constructively with the immediate team, business and external resources
  • have working experience of financial services related projects
  • have a pragmatic and positive approach
  • contribute to providing timely and accurate information as required
Ideally, you will have:
  • experience in front, middle and back office financial services or funds / wealth management technology including either order management / trading systems, portfolio management systems, corporate actions, superannuation processing
  • experience with integrated eCommerce and back office systems highly desirable
  • significant experience in the full lifecycle of IT projects including process mapping, scope definition, requirements definition, functional design, testing, implementation, and user training
  • experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery - ideally projects of $500-$1m in value
