- Senior PMO Manager reqd to lead projects across a Capital Markets IT area
- Front to Back Office trading, risk, settlement & processing systems IT area - mutliple projects
- Contract role
PMO Manager / Program Office Manager - Global Investment Banking and Capital Markets Capital Markets, Treasury & Risk IT area of this leading global investment banking firm requires an experienced, capable Senior Program Office / PMO Manager. The PMO Manager will oversee a large portfolio of multiple front, middle & back office trading, risk and trade processing projects across applications.
The successful candidate, you will be expected to provide leadership around the Program Management Office, establishing and improving standards and processes; ensuring all aspects of projects currently undertaken are comprehensively planned, monitored and reported.
You will be an evangelist in facilitating communication between stakeholders, promoting open and effective communications. You may have a consultancy background with a large consultancy, or similar blue chip. Financial services experience is not essential but preferred.
You will be:
- Proactively monitoring, tracking and reporting on the delivery of all projects and their interdependencies.
- Coordinating and faciliting steering and management meetings
- Identifying potential resource and scheduling conflicts and resolutions
- Promoting open lines of communications between all stakeholders
You will have:
- Proven project management and program management office experience from an applications development background
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrable experience in project plan management, cost management, procurement and project HR skills
- Experience managing and establishing strong relationships with senior 'C' level business stakeholders, senior IT stakeholders, as well as vendors.
- Formal project management certifications
- Experience in using project planning tools and data analysis skills
- Prior Financial Markets technology experience highly desirable - Treasury, derivatives, Risk , Commodities, Fixed Income or Equities experience all highly desirable
Would suit an expeirenced Investment Banking/Capital Markets IT PMO Manager with prior experience running the PMO across a trading systems IT environment.
