Our client is a global logistics company, they now require a senior credit controller, who will supervise one other credit officer, in this pivotal and important role.
The ideal candidate will thrive in this fast paced high volume environment whilst still taking pride in providing excellent customer service. The main objectives of this role is to ensure collection of outstanding debts.
Specific duties will include:
- Coordinating and maintaining minutes of weekly debtors meetings with proper action plans for all overdue clients
- Weekly follow up on overdue outstanding
- Handling debtor write-offs
- Facilitate the daily update of receipts and banking
- Review of rejected receivables, refer and follow up with internal departments until resolved
- Weekly reconciliations between internal systems
- To manage and work with another team member/Credit Controller
The ideal candidate will bring with them solid experience in a fast paced collections and credit control environment and be highly dedicated and results driven. You must also be ready to supervise another member of staff and manage their and your own workload.
Other essential skills include:
- Proven customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong team player
- Ability to demonstrate initiative
- Prior work in high volume environments
