This world wide engineering organisation is extremely interesting in structure, culture and procedures. Your role is responsible for providing HR initiative and support to Australia and New Zealand. With no formal HR structure currently in place, you will be given the opportunity to really make this position your own.
This role is as strategic as it is operational. You will report to the supportive Managing Director of Asia Pacific with a dotted line into the Global HR director.
You will be expected to build relationships and to gain the trust of key stakeholders, to educate and influence them in order to implement new HR strategies and facilitate cultural change.
Suggested projects for your attention include; a performance management review, the design of a retention strategy, devise and implement a management coaching program, conduct a remuneration review and salary benchmarking exercise, review and update current employment contracts and research and coordinate a new HRIS.
Proven experience in generalist HR management and project management is essential. You will be passionate about Human Resources, energetic in your approach and patient in your method. A professional, customer focused attitude is appropriate and a good sense of humour will help you along.
