Our client is the pre-eminent jet and large turbo-prop aircraft charter operator in Australia. They require an experienced Procurement Specialist to join their friendly and professional team!
Duties and Responsibilities: ·
- Strategic Sourcing ability with an emphasis on value add to the business
- Preparation of requests for proposals, evaluation of offers, and negotiation of supply agreements Management of Supplier compliance for quantity, quality and value add
- Develop and prepare reports as required by management with an emphasis on streamlining and automating related processes
- Data acquisition and analysis of sales, inventory and procurement spend
- Maintain data for items, prices and suppliers
Qualifications and Experience:
- Strong data analysis skills
- Good understanding of logistics concepts
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Effective time management with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and problem-solve effectively
- Procurement and/or logistics experience
