In this role you will be responsible for the assessment, management and administration of a portfolio of risk product claims and will have the authority to determine benefits for lump sum claims for temporary disablement claims without management referral. You will also admit claims, calculate benefits, request further medical, financial information as well as make recommendations on larger claims.
To be successful in this role you will have a medical terminology certificate and/or qualifications, proven insurance industry experience including legislation knowledge, claims process knowledge and investigation techniques.
