Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst - Funds Management / Wealth Management. Specialist Funds Management business within this leading global investment banking & financial services firm requires an experienced BA. The Group provides clients with a single, integrated funds-product suite covering the full spectrum of funds management and funds-based structured products. The team has grown globally in recent years to over 500 staff across multiple locations with combined funds under management of $A70 billion and $A7 billion in funds-based structured products.We are looking to appoint a BA with excellent full BA life cycle experience to help assist with a large integration project - mergin three front, middle & back-office funds management areas into one Funds Group. In this role, the BA will be working with the Funds Structured Products business to integrate both business processes and operating platforms and implement new initiatives to drive the business forward. The responsibilities of this role include, but not limited to:
  • Conduct the full lifecycle of business analysis activities including requirements definition, scope definition, process mapping, functional design, testing, implementation & user training
  • Conduct business process re-engineering workshops and assist in the development of new business processes and procedures
  • Project manage small to medium sized projects from inception through to implementation
To be successful, you must have:
  • Experience in business analysis with a proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Excellent leadership, customer service capabilities and strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability and self motivation
  • Ability to quickly establish requirements and ability to work closely with the business to deliver the most appropriate outcome
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Ideally you will also have:
  • Project management, planning and organisation skills
  • Experience with back office Funds Management system implementations such as Unit Registry - ideally Composer or Gatekeeper, Hiportfolio , pControl, Simcorp Dimension, Charles River/CRD or similar

Business Analysts with a proven track record working in a highly changeable business environment, including business, process & systems intergration/mergers experience in Funds Management of particular interest. The suitable canddiate will also be sufficiently experienced, pragmatic and business savvy to help navigate/coerce around/through bottlenecks & issues resulting from the three business areas merging.
