Opportunity for an experienced Service Technician to join dynamic team at one of Australia’s leading catering equipment companies. This role will require you to be on the road in addition to working in the workshop.
We are looking for an experienced technician with a sound electrical or gas technical background (previous Refrigeration Mechanic would be ideal but not essential). You will have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken as there is a great deal of customer contact and a healthy work ethic and strong team focus are important in this role.
Salary package includes salary, superannuation, FMCV and mobile phone.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Service and maintenance of all defective and returned products.
- Product returns to be serviced internally which will include resolving the issue and returning the machine to the client.
- Ad hoc offsite reports at major clients.
In addition to the experience above you will require:
- A disconnect/reconnect electrical license
- Be able to demonstrate analytical and problem solving ability
- Self starter and ability to work unsupervised
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Autonomous and solution orientated approach
- Valid drivers licence with good driving record
- Technician within foodservice or similar industry experience would be highly regarded, but not essential
- Overtime hours may be required on occasion, so some flexibility will be required
