Description
Due to strong business committment to improve efficiencies across their core banking functions our client have an opportunity available for an experienced Business Analyst to join their team working through all facets of the project life cycle.
As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for :
- Liaise with relevant business users and project stakeholders to understand and review existing processes
- Lead and participate in workshops to understand business requirements , provide gap analysis
- Define and document high level business requirements understanding key drivers
- Create detailed functional specifications to a level required by technology / development teams
- Work closely with Project Manages and provide project reporting to relevant parties
- Business Process Re- engineering activities
- Provide guidance and support activities to other team members in relation to project activities
Ideal Candidates for this role should demonstrate:
- Good Educational background - tertiary qualifications
- At least 3-5 years experience working as a Business Analyst gained within a corporate environment
- Proven abilities defining complex business logic and -creation of detailed requirements specifications
- Ability to develop strong business working relationships with Stakeholders / Technology teams / Vendors
- Proven experience working through all facets of the software delivery life cycle - Data Flow diagrams , process mapping , strong documentation skills
- Previous experience gained within Financial Services ideally Banking or experience of implementing banking solutions via a Consultancy / Vendor would be highly regarded
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are mandatory
