Description
Primary Functions
E and I Designer for Automation and Control DCS Projects
Responsibilities:
DCS Hardware Design including
Cabinet Layout Design
Heat and Power Calculations
Marshalling and Termination Schedules
GA Layout Design
Cabinet Power Design (24V and 110V)
Loop drawings
Managing fabrication contractors for cabinet build as per design
Cadding in Microstation and AutoCAD
IO Takeoff from PandID`s
Asbuiliting and Redline mark ups
Qualifications:
Trades or Diploma qualifications with at least 6 to 8yrs experience as a E and I Designer
Mandatory requirements:
Hardware design experience for at least 8 to 10yrs for control and automation projects
Must have an understanding of all Australian Standards with respect for E and I Design
Good knowledge of Drafting packages like Auto Cad and Microstation
Desirable requirements
Experience with
INTOOLS
Knowledge of O and G or Mining industries
Liason with EPC companies
Field instrumentation
Experience in working in big teams
