One of our clients is looking for a HSE Coordinator that will be reporting directly to the HSE Manager, and being part if a close knit HSE team, you will be involved in all facets relating to the implementation of HSE across the company. They are looking for a self-starter who can work in an environment of energy and creativity and have the ability to liaise with key internal/external stakeholders to achieve business goals.
Skills and Requirements
o 5+ Years experience in mining / exploration (i.e. Field Assistant, Pit Technicians, etc)
o Tertiary qualification in relevant field
o Work with the HSE Manager in all matters pertaining to the development and implementation of the HSE Management System
o Assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of annual HSE Plans
o Assist in the development and implementation of HSE training programs
o Incident reporting, monitoring and investigation
o Participate in and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with legislation, HSE Plans, HSE Management Standards and safety case requirements
o Review and revise legislative documentation as required
o Actively advise and support operations in the implementation of HSE processes and initiatives
