Its pre-eminent legal team now seeks an Assistant Legal Counsel to manage and deliver Commercial legal services within the business.
You will research and provide a wide range of legal advice and services to the business, in the areas of the Corporations Law Act, Insurance and Financial Services. You will draft and review agreements, advise on HR and ER matters, privacy, trade practices, banking and corporate governance. You will be expected to carry out policy reviews, review disclosure documentation and marketing material, as well as be involved in product development. You will advise on compliance with regulatory requirements.
You will need excellent drafting, interpersonal, communication, team work skills and organisational skills.
Those lawyers with experience Inhouse at the regulator or at a reputable private practice, at or approaching Senior Associate level should apply without delay.
