Java J2EE Developer - Investment Banking / Settlements systems. Leading investment banking & financial services firm requires a Java Developer / Analyst Programmers to join the bank asap.
The roles will require highly skilled technologist's who can leverage their skills in delivering high quality systems within agreed timeframes.General Technical requirements:- Strong Java programming and design skills
- Java programming experience in either JMS, RMI, Spring, Swing, JAXB, Hibernate, Struts & XML
- Sound Object Oriented Software development & design skills
- RDBMS experience in either Sybase, Oracle or SQL Server
- Some experience with Ant, eEclipse, Shell Scripting highly desirable
Experience/exposure to the following of benefit -
- Trading systems experience across either Equities or Fixed Income, Derivatives, FX/MM, Treasury or similar - Commodity or Debt/Credit markets of particular interest
- JBoss
- WebMethods
- Web Services
- Experience in formal development methodologies (Agile, FDD, Waterfall or other), change management and version control
